Q: Are you hiring?
A: We’re truly honored you’d want to be part of our little book-loving world. Right now, The Charmed Page is a small but mighty operation—just one person (hi, that’s me!) doing all the behind-the-scenes magic with help from our feathered mascot, Poe. We’re not in a place financially to hire just yet, but as we grow, it’s absolutely part of the dream. So please keep us in mind down the road—your support now helps us get closer to that future!
Q: Can I order a book I didn’t see on your shelves?
A: Totally! If we don’t have it in stock, we’re more than happy to order it for you, as long as it’s not an exclusive or self-published book on Amazon.
Let’s break that down:
- Exclusives are books only available through certain retailers like Barnes & Noble, Target, Walmart, Costco, or Book of the Month Club. If a book is exclusive to one of those places, we can’t get our paws on it—no matter how nicely we ask.
- Amazon Self-Published books are only printed and shipped through Amazon’s own system. If the author didn’t distribute their book through a wholesaler (like Ingram), it’s not available to indie bookstores like ours. Trust us—we’ve tried.
That said, we love helping readers find what they’re looking for, so ask away—we’ll do our best to work some literary magic!
To request a book, fill out the contact form below with the title, author, and ISBN number (if you have it handy). We’ll search for it and email you back to confirm if we can get it. Once you approve and pay the invoice, we’ll include it in our next weekly shipment. Easy peasy, book-squeezy.
